Welcome to Meals On Wheels, Etc.

The Mission of Meals on Wheels, Etc. is to enhance the quality of life for elder Seminole County residents by providing appetizing, nutritious meals, and support services which permit seniors to maintain independence and dignity.

We began providing home-delivered meals and transportation service in 1973. Since that time, additional supportive services have been added to meet the growing needs of vulnerable older adults in Seminole County. A number of vital programs are now offered which help to build a society where older adults can remain in their own homes and communities, and continue to live their lives with as much choice as possible.

Our Agency offers services in three core areas:
Nutrition - Home Delivered Meals and Congregate Meals
Transportation - To Congregate Dining, Medical Appointments, Shopping, Etc.
Home - Home repairs, chore, and homemaking services.

Programs are funded by grants from local and federal governments, United Way, civic organizations, businesses, foundations, client contributations and individual donations. (Click here for details!)
