Meals on Wheels, Etc. has been caring for seniors in Seminole County for over 50 years. Today, we feed over 1,000 seniors per year, yet there are hundreds on our waiting list at any given moment. Many seniors live alone and do not have the ability to prepare hot meals or take care of the homes in which they live. Your contributions and donations make it possible for us to provide the relief they need on a daily basis and meet our goal – No Senior Goes Hungry.
HOW TO DONATE
The seniors of Seminole County, Florida need your help more than ever. You can donate online through our safe and secure PayPal portal, mail a check to our office, give us a call or stop by in person and chat with one of our friendly staff members who can assist you with your donation. Another powerful way to donate is through Planned Giving. These endowments through your will create a legacy that enables work to continue to bring assistance to our seniors.

WHAT TO DONATE
Many items become too expensive for seniors to afford on a limited budget as time goes on. Some of the items that make the most impact on the needs of our seniors are: nightgowns, blankets/quilts, Ensure or Boost (nutritional supplement), personal care items, sweaters, slippers, socks, stationary, pens and pencils, postage stamps, gift certificates for stores such as Publix, Wal-Mart and Target, and disposable protective undergarments such as Depends.
Another way to support is through a new giving program with Capital One Shopping. This is a free tool that does price-matching and discount-finding which in turns helps you save money on many items.
