March for Meals

Volunteering

Our most crucial need is for volunteers. We are in constant need of volunteers to fill positions in the following areas during the week and on weekends.

Deliver Meals to Seniors' Homes

Volunteers use their own transportation
1-1/2 Hours, 1 Day a week (Monday-Friday)
Meals arrive at pick up sites from 9:00 am to 10:30 am
Pick up sites throughout Seminole County

Neighborhood Dining Program

Volunteers assist serving lunch to seniors, conduct activities, games, crafts or help plan parties. Donations needed: snacks, festive paper plates, cups, decorations and craft projects Monday-Friday 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM.

Kitchen

Volunteers needed to help the kitchen staff prepare meals each day.
Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 12:30 pm

Home Repairs

Help us complete minor home repair, paint projects and yard clean up. Skilled labor also needed to help build wheel chair ramps for seniors.

Weatherization Program

Volunteer to assist Community Relations Director on various fund raising projects.

Christmas Day Meal Delivery

Volunteer to deliver meals and gifts to homebound seniors on Christmas Day. Meal delivery takes about 1-1/2 hours of time on Christmas Day.
