Volunteer

Our most crucial need is for volunteers. We are in constant need of volunteers to fill the following positions during the week and on weekends.

Home Delivered Meals (Meals on Wheels)

Volunteers use their own transportation

1 1/2 Hours, 1 Day a week (Monday-Friday)

Meals arrive at pick up sites from 9:00 am to 10:30 am

Pick up sites throughout Seminole County

Neighborhood Dining Program

Volunteers assist the staff serving lunch to seniors and help conduct activities, games, crafts or help plan parties.

Donations of snacks, festive paper plates, cups or decorations and craft projects are always needed.

Monday-Friday 9:30 am to 1pm

Kitchen

Volunteers needed to help the kitchen staff prepare 8,000 meals a day.

Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 12:30 pm

Home Repairs

Volunteers needed to help complete minor home repair; paint projects and yard clean up. All skill levels.

More advanced labor needed to help build Wheels Chair ramps for seniors.

Fundraising
Volunteers work with the Community Relations Director on various fund raising projects.

Adopt a Senior
Provide gift baskets for holiday delivery. Mark baskets either Male or Female.
November 1 - December 15

Christmas Day Meal Delivery
Volunteer to deliver meals and gifts to homebound seniors on Christmas Day. Meal delivery takes about 1 1/2 hours of time on Christmas Day.
