Facts

• Meals on Wheels, Etc. served 2,751 seniors 161,620 meals, 24,113 transportation trips, 3,625 hours of homemaking services, and 2,890 hours of chores and home improvements in 2007.
• Our Agency also provided 322,384 day-care meals for 1,593 children throughout the year.
• Our services are free of charge to eligible seniors and with the help of over 700 volunteers (who gave 40,087 hours of service last year), we continue to expand our services throughout Seminole County.
• Residents aged 85+ are the fastest growing population in Seminole County
• The Average age of a Meals on Wheels, Etc. client is 84.

The Meals on Wheels, Etc. kitchen has been recognized by Kraft Foods and the National Meals On Wheels Foundation as an innovative approach to providing appetizing, nutritious meals for our seniors!
