Meals On Wheels, Etc. served 2,773 clients 151,690 meals, 25,173 transportation trips, 3,613 hours of homemaking services, and 6,610 hours of chores in 2006.

Our Agency also provided 566,818 daycare meals for 2,253 children throughout the year.

Our services are free of charge to eligible seniors and with the help of 793 volunteers (who gave 44,711 hours of service last year), we continue to expand our services throughout Seminole County.

Residents aged 85+ are the fastest growing population in Seminole County

The Average age of a Meals On Wheels, Etc. client is 84.

The Meals On Wheels, Etc. kitchen has been recognized by Kraft Foods and the National Meals On Wheels Foundation as an innovative approach to providing appetizing, nutritious meals for our seniors!
